My main SF interest is Babylon 5, and a large part of that interest is based on one of the SF clubs I belong to and that I also write the web pages for - the Earth Alliance Destroyer Alexander. It's a Bournemouth/Poole based group, and very friendly. Other groups can be too big for their own good, leading to a very cliquey feel. We don't concentrate on big set pieces like monthly events showing old eps of TNG or Babylon 5, but being small (20 members and 6 that come to almost everything) we can really listen to what people want to do - including getting some of the latest eps and watching them over pizza :-) - try doing that with 75 people!
